As an Industrialization Manager at Somarest, you will play a crucial role in transforming innovation into reality. You will be responsible for implementing and optimizing the industrialization processes for new projects, ensuring a smooth transition from concept to production. Key Responsibilities:
Missions
In charge of the industrialisation phase of new projects and its optimisation Oversees the definition of the manufacturing process and proposes product industrialisation solutions that meet aesthetic, quality, cost and deadline requirements Manages the workload of their team according to project priorities in collaboration with Site Project Managers Participates in workability and material validation routines from the mock-up stage onwards, contributing their industrialisation vision and identifying potential risks Participates in pre-production and kick-off routines for the transition from prototyping to industrialisation, ensuring that information is communicated to their team (review of deliverables, site project ADRs and production requirements for go-style validation). Leads efforts to reduce industrialisation costs and manages industrialisation expenses (tools, supplier audits, etc.) Must ensure the expected level of quality is met Oversees the proposal of industrialisation solutions and/or adaptations for internal and external modification requests, managing the team's workload and capacity. Leads the formalisation of best practices in design and eco-design. Participates in quality audits, MRPs, improvement projects, time projects and exchanges with other sites and subcontractors for continuous product improvement Work towards the reduction of industrialisation costs and any incurred expenses Manages and develops a technical team (MAPs and Development Advisor), monitoring the team's daily performance (compliance with aesthetic, quality, cost and deadline requirements). Supports the skills development and growth of their team in conjunction with the HR department (expertise, product culture, interpersonal skills, etc.).
