Based in our Switzerland (Geneva) Head Office, and part of our Central Europe Team (Switzerland, Hungary, Romania and Czech Republic) you will be joining our Accounting Department to support the Head of Accounting as well as the Accounting Team. In your role you will report directly to the Head of Accounting.
Job responsibilities
The missions will be as follows: · Manage the vendor creation process for all the vendors of the Region · Provide support to the AP accountants in managing vendor invoices · Provide support to the AR accountants in reconciling accounts and classifying documents · Clean the contracts database · Provide support to the team in the monthly / quarterly closing process · Provide support to the team in preparing the exception reports
Profile
University degree in finance /accounting and equivalent of relevant experience minimum 5-10 years in accounting department within an international environment. Some of main skills and strengths: · Fluent in English and French are mandatory, other languages are a plus · Advanced SAP and Excel skills · Experience in a dynamic international environment is required · Strong customers orientation (service minded) · Capable of handling multiple tasks, proactive and to work autonomously with some direction · Able to meet with tight deadlines and to cope with changes · An enquiring mind, supportive of continuous process improvement · Previous retail industry experience and/or audit (Big 5) experience are a plus. · Available as soon as possible.
