(I) Legal Matters
- Provide strategic legal support and advice to all departments in Louis Vuitton (including finance, operations, information security, client development, e-commerce) with a focus on Korea
- Draft, negotiate, review and advise on regulatory and commercial agreements (including but not limited to areas of general corporate and commercial, business collaboration, distribution, event, licensing, non-disclosure, service, security, logistics sponsorships, celebrity, acquisition and warehousing)
- Draft, negotiate, review and advise on leasing documentation, including tenancy agreements, variations, renewals and termination
- Manage, advise and resolve pending or threatened disputes between Louis Vuitton and other parties
- Manage communications and interactions with government and/or regulatory authorities
- Work with internal stakeholders and manage external counsel
- Work with the APAC legal team to establish best practices
(II) Compliance Matters
- Monitor legislative and regulatory changes as they apply to Louis Vuitton
- Manage legal compliance projects and workstreams, including product compliance, consumer protection, anti-money laundering and corporate
- Provide legal and compliance training to staff
- Assist with other legal and compliance matters, or any other duties and projects as requested by the Legal Director and General Counsel for APAC from time to time
- Work with internal stakeholders (including Central Compliance Director) and manage external counsel
(III) Data Privacy Matters
- Manage and advise on Louis Vuitton’s data privacy compliance arising from its operations
- Draft, negotiate, review and advise on data processing agreements and contracts
- Maintain and update Louis Vuitton’s external and internal privacy policies and guidelines
- Monitor developments in Korea’s data protection regime, laws and regulatory framework
- Conduct privacy risk assessments, manage data audits and maintain compliant privacy documentation
- Manage privacy complaints or incidents of breach
- Work with internal stakeholders (including Central Data Protection Officer) and manage external counsel
- Manage communications and interactions with government and/or regulatory authorities
