IT Specialist is the entry point for all IT activities on sites under its responsibility reporting to IT Industrial Infrastructure Manager. He/she manages end-to-end priority 1 tickets, and he/she guarantees the proper maintenance of the site (regular audit of the main equipment and renewal according to their end of life, etc.)
MISSIONS AND RESPONSABILITIES:
- Source and facilitate IT support by meeting the site flexibility needs.
- Identify and manage incidents having a significant impact on production and shipments.
- It provides reporting on these incidents, communication to the impacted business teams as well as to the IT manager and his hierarchy. Identifies and alerts on recurring incidents.
- Identify and tracks IT requests made by the site.
- Verify the compatibility with the governance rules before they are implemented or checks with the IT Manager of the Country Manager for their feasibility.
- Identify actions to secure critical activities of the site (security stock, escalation process)
- Executes, contributes to the organization and planning of maintenance operations, in coordination with site management and its IT correspondents.
- Ensure by its proposals, a continuous improvement that must contribute to reduce the number of tickets and ensure a good level of satisfaction of its users.
- Must propose solutions that improve incident resolution time.
- Monitor the end-to-end interventions of IT partners who intervene on site (networks, telephony, etc.)
- Disseminate and respect the standards and best practices put in place by the central teams.
- Manage the management of material on site (security stock, renewal, replacement in case of breakdowns, etc.)
- Provides, and installs PC/phones/tablets.
- Guarantees proximity support to users for all hardware.
- Is the local contact point for deployments, and contributes to impact analyses (infrastructure control, deployment of equipment, etc.)
- Provide post-deployment support, identify problems encountered and propose solutions for improvement.
- Facilitates and supports the deployment of new IT solutions.
- Carry out or participate in the reporting of the progress of projects of its sites.
- Works closely with the central support teams and the “knowledge” manager.
