Louis Vuitton runs for UNICEF
Louis Vuitton rises to the challenge. Between September 8 and 15, thousands of employees from all over the world ran the LV Run for UNICEF. This team-based race raised €130,700 in donations to our partnership with UNICEF.
More than 75 teams got together worldwide to run for the same good cause in the same week. All about having fun and pushing your personal limits, the challenge was open to everyone and attracted a total of 2,500 runners. And we saw the same energy levels repeated everywhere. “Our youngest runner was just 2 years old, and the oldest was over 70. It was a really fun challenge!”, says Gabriel, a Client Advisor in Melbourne, Australia. The event was also a great opportunity to build relationships between colleagues.
Using the hashtags #MAKEAPROMISE #LVWorldRun and #LVforUnicef to raise public awareness, each team collected raised sponsorship donations from friends, colleagues and family. After every team had crossed the finish line, the LV Run for UNICEF had a winning team of its own: LVA Store Planning. Its 12 highly motivated runners raised a total of €22,400 in sponsorship! Setting a new record to beat next time!
