MISSION STATEMENT
The Retail HR Specialist/Assistant Manager is committed to enhancing the organizational capabilities of our retail operations by strategically managing talent acquisition, employee relations, and HR administration. In partnership with retail management and HR teams, the Retail HR Specialist/Assistant Manager will execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies, ensuring the successful recruitment and retention of top talent for challenging positions. By providing expert guidance on employee relations, including personal counseling and effective coaching, the Retail HR Specialist/Assistant Manager will support store management in fostering a positive and productive work environment. Additionally, the Retail HR Specialist/Assistant Manager will efficiently manage HR administration tasks, including budget and headcount planning, to ensure seamless HR operations that align with the strategic goals of the business.

Job responsibilities
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
■Key responsibility 1: Talent Acquisition
- Execute processing of TA for the retail store position, working with Retail HR team members.
- Partner with Retail management to develop broad talent acquisition strategies for hard to fill.
- Control recruitment/ temporary agencies with close communication.
■Key responsibility 2: Employee Relations
- Handle ER issues in stores with Retail HR Manager, to support store management.
- Provide personal counselling to employee to resolve employee relations issues, especially for mental health issue.
- Provide effective coaching, counselling, executing and disciplinary strategies on all ER issues including terminations.
■Key responsibility 3: HR administration
- Handle HR administration with timely manner.
- Prepare budget and headcount plan with HRBP.
Profile
REQUIRED EXPERIENCES
• HR experience not required for Specialist-level position. For Assistant Manager level, 3 years of HR experience is required.
• Fluent level of English and Business level of Japanese
• Computer literate (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
