Retail Management Trainees bringing their A-game in Seoul!
The Louis Vuitton Retail Management Trainee Program is designed to accelerate young talents as future retail leaders within 24 months. The structured rotational program will immerse Retail Management Trainees (MTs) in an enhanced learning environment combining on job training, diverse projects, personalized mentoring as well as engagement with our management team to build their retail management skills.
As one of the many highlights of this Program, our Retail Management Trainees in North Asia recently took part in a regional-scale project – the grand opening of the new Louis Vuitton Maison Seoul.
To prepare for the various events and spin-off shows around the opening of the flagship store on October 31, 2019, 15 Retail Management Trainees from cohort 2018 gathered in Seoul for a 10-day immersive experience, to contribute to and gain regional exposure from this landmark project.
Chris is one of the Retail Management Trainees from Hong Kong, and he marveled at the opportunity. “From the opening event, fashion show, after party, to the “Re-see Seoul” spin-off shows, every single one of them is a world-class event on its own, and I am very proud to be a part of it.”
Aside from the project challenge, Retail Management Trainees were equally impressed by the different talents they’ve worked with. “It was an eye-opening project as we get to work with international team members, all with different background and expertise. What’s more, getting to know my fellow MTs from other markets, sharing our learnings and Vuitton journeys through peer coaching made this a truly unforgettable experience.”, shared Helen, Management Trainees of Korea.
Our Retail Management Trainees in Shanghai, Charlotte, reflected on her journey: “Being agile is more than just doing things right under changing circumstances, it is about doing the right things even when the settings are shifting, and this is my biggest takeaway.”
