Louis Vuitton & ProgramHer: Empowering the Next Generation of Female Tech Leaders
Louis Vuitton supported future female tech leaders at the 5th edition of #ProgramHer, hosted by the EFREI, a renowned engineering school and one of the Maison’s partners. On October 23rd, 2024, 60 promising young women experienced the world of tech firsthand.
Building on the Maison's commitment to fostering young female tech talent—currently only 37%* of female high school students consider tech careers (in France) —#ProgramHer offers an immersive experience into the world of coding, AI, and digital innovation.
Selected participants engaged in hands-on workshops led by Louis Vuitton's own tech experts, the #LV_NEO team, alongside other actors such as TF1 (France’s first television network) or Deezer (French music streaming service), covering key areas like programming, data science, and cybersecurity. They unraveled real-world challenges, explored cutting-edge technologies, and gained invaluable mentorship from inspiring women shaping the future of tech, including Data Product Managers, Tech Leads, and Digital Managers.
For those 60 young women, #ProgramHer offered a unique opportunity of connecting, collaborating, and building their skills, preparing them to tackle industry challenges, like mitigating bias in AI.
