Louis Vuitton Americas Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Commitments at a Glance
At Louis Vuitton, we are committed to ensuring a workplace that is grounded in the principles of respecting diversity, while promoting equity and inclusion.
This past year, our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion team launched several partnerships and workshops to further increase our community’s awareness, encourage meaningful conversations, and reinforce our commitments. We leverage several data points to measure our progress year over year, such as overall representation, leadership representation, promotion rates, survey feedback, pay equity data and more.
From the launch of our HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) and Harlem’s Fashion Row partnerships, we’ve created access and space for individuals belonging to underrepresented communities to build their network and receive career guidance from our teams. We opened the doors of the Louis Vuitton Showroom and 5th Avenue Maison to North Carolina A&T (HBCU) students and members to discover more about the magic behind Louis Vuitton. Students explored the brand and uncovered ways to create a meaningful and exciting career within the fashion industry. Our partnership continues to emphasize our commitment to fostering equity and inclusion within the fashion industry and opening new doors to the next generation of BIPOC creatives. Throughout the year, we celebrated Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, Black History Month, Juneteenth, Mental Health Awareness, Pride, Women’s History Month, Pride and so much more to provide underexposed communities at Louis Vuitton an opportunity to express themselves and spread awareness.
We recognize the influence and contributions of our Teams. Through the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Listening Tour and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Survey, we have brought necessary conversations to the forefront to advocate for change. Collaboration with our retail and corporate communities has increased our footprint and activation of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion program. Learning together, we continue to promote and further develop an organizational culture that celebrates diversity, equity, inclusivity and belonging.
