- Bachelor's Degree and is a Qualified or Chartered Accountant or equivalent
- Possesses +5 years of relevant experience in Customs and Trade Compliance, preferably acquired in prominent Big 4 accounting firms or large MNCs and customs brokerage firm
- Proficient in engaging with Korean authorities, logistics personnel, and customs officials to navigate local regulation effectively
- Demonstrates extensive expertise in customs & trade compliance
- Has practical experience in trade program eligibility, valuation, markings, classification, recordkeeping, and import/export documentation requirements influencing customs clearance & trade compliance
- Maintains a comprehensive and current understanding of customs and trade compliance regulations and advancements in Korea
- Knowledge in the retail sector would be advantageous
- Exhibits strong project management, research, analytical, and presentation capabilities
- Shows self-motivation and adapts well to dynamic, time-sensitive environments with evolving deliverables and requirements
- Demonstrates teamwork, energy, maturity, and flexibility
- Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Korean
