Louis Vuitton was born out of craftmanship. Preserving our time-honored métiers and our unique savoir-faire is essential to us. We make sure that our workplace allows and encourages every one of our employees to develop their skills in the best possible conditions.

In 1854, Louis Vuitton founded his namesake trunk-making Maison, which became known for its unparalleled craftsmanship and creativity.

In 2010, the Maison created the Ecole des Savoir-Faire to train the next generation of artisans.

We are committed to transparency and accountability throughout our supply chains and to preserving all natural resources including animal species, and energy, respecting animal welfare, avoiding deforestation, eliminating the use of hazardous chemicals, and reducing air and water pollution.

By 2025, 100% of our raw materials will be responsibly sourced.

By 2025, 100% of our packaging will be free of single-use plastics.
