SUMMARY       

The Compensation and Benefits Manager ensures that the C&B investment offerings, and governance of each program/plan in Japan meet Louis Vuitton Japan’s business objectives. The manager sets the basic compensation and benefits policies as the organization manages its personnel expenses, internal equity and external competitiveness. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Compensation & Benefits

  • Create and support the execution of local employee compensation, incentive and recognition programs
  • Lead to improve local compensation infrastructure and processes; provide related communication and education to diverse employees
  • Support the regional annual salary review process, including merit budgets, incentive and equity allocations
  • Assist HR business partners for both office and store with compensation needs
  • Work to support all local market compensation programs and policies to ensure that they meet the local legal and compliance requirements
  • Maintain awareness of practices among competitors and of regulatory and business trends in compensation
  • Support all necessary regional audits
  • Create and execute an innovative benefits agenda for Louis Vuitton Japan
  • Support and execute the implementation and communication strategy of local benefit plans
  • Acts as a subject matter expert for Compensation & Benefits leaders across the world, business leaders and internal HR teams, regarding Louis Vuitton Japan program practices
  • Ensures that benefit plan operations work properly to meet legislative and regulatory requirements in all countries
  • Ensures that benefit plan governance materials are fully developed for local market to ensure effective oversight
  • Work closely to support local market vendor relationships

Payroll

  • Manage company’s payroll operation in a timely and accurate manner
  • Continuously work to improve and digitalize payroll infrastructure and processes
  • Manage payroll & admin team members
  • Lead different HR projects: E HR project

 

Perfil

PROFILES:

Education:

  • University degree

 

Experience:          

  • A minimum of 5-7 years’ practical experience in compensation & benefits and payroll management in the retail business environment preferred
  • Practical experience in operating the components of a global/market compensation program as well as the ability to design and implement innovations within a collaborative environment
  • Solid working experience in a leading company (retail business referred) with interpersonal sensitivity
  • Team management experience
  • Proven use of Project Management principles and discipline
  • Project leading experience

Requirements:

  • Ability to dive into the details with analytical approach
  • Good communication skills: Native-level Japanese language proficiency (including reading and writing) and Business fluent English
  • Work autonomously and demonstrate a positive enthusiastic attitude
  • Highly professional with established relationship building skills
  • Strong problem solving and highly developed reasoning skills
  • Proven leadership skills, working closely with diverse global teams
  • Legal, accounting, and regulatory know how
  • Computer literate (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
