As a Seamstress, you are responsible for daily tailoring duties including altering client garments and staff uniforms to deliver an excellent client and member experience.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for garment fitting with clients; Take accurate body measurements, record, advice and discuss with the client on alterations
- Repairing garments as per client requirements including cutting, shortening sleeves, takes in waistline, lengthen the pants or replace buttons etc complying with the Company guideline
- Carry out uniforms fitting and alteration with new and existing staff; Ensuring proper recording of uniform stocktake
- Ensure alterations complete within time frame; Scrutinize the condition after repair
- Sorting and maintaining organized storage of garments and uniform
- Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of sewing equipment in sewing room
- Ensure garment waste is disposed appropriately
- Coordinate on store event; Provide tailoring support as when required
