The Benelux & Nordics Region is recruiting for a Merchandiser, based in Brussels, overseeing a 7-country network with large geographical spread. The role involves frequent travel.
As a Merchandiser you will be an ambassador of the Brand. You will assess, monitor and modify for all stores the right assortment of product and related services to help them reach their maximum sales and service potential in addition to assisting the Merchandiser functions to support store image, client experience, and productivity of store. You will represent the Brand values and demonstrate the Louis Vuitton attitudes toward Clients and team members.
Partnership with stores:
- Acting as the products ambassador, coach and motivate Team Managers, Expert Client Advisors and Ambassadors
- Animate the products community across the region, identifying business opportunities
- Effectively partner with the Field Coach Training and HR teams to grow and develop our talent
- Collect feedback from stores on product to gain a strong qualitative awareness of the category performance
Zone Interaction:
- Effectively partner with the Zone team for all product launches ensuring the strategy is clearly executed
- Provide regular feedback on product and category performance to Zone, leveraging the network
- Assist with the Buy where applicable (including seasonal launches)
- Manage the allocation of limited, seasonal and show products
Business Driver:
- Clearly define targets to ensure that the market budgets are achieved
- Working cross functionally, identify opportunities to grow the business in store and through events
- Effectively project manage product events in collaboration with the Clienteling team
- Outline key product priorities and follow up the performance
- Execute all local initiatives throughout the year for the product categories
- Create, track and maintain product launch plans; coordinating and communicating cross functionally
Product Assortments & Store Offers:
- Assist in reviewing the product assortments (4 x p/ yr) - analysing SKU sales to determine and capitalise on business opportunities
- Regularly review maximum product levels with supply chain
- Rebalance stock for maximum sell through
- Create and distribute limited product information/ Lookbooks to stores
- Track buying quantities and changes
- Manage waitlist distributions
- Respond to store enquiries
Reporting:
- Undertake weekly merchandising reporting and commercial activity updates for your categories
- Produce sell-through reports, best seller reports and other ad hoc reporting as requested by the Merchandising Director
Learning:
- Collaborating with the Field Coach Trainers, animate and deliver engaging product training for the Category – new products and carryover
Market Awareness:
- Remain abreast of key market trends for your product category
