For our 5 manufacturing sites in the Catalonia region, we are seeking a Health and Safety director to join our team and operations. As a pivotal member of the Spain Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Country General Manager, you will:
- Lead the Health and Safety Department, developing and implementing strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Provide strategic and hand-on support and direction to the plants, to ensure meeting legal requirements and developing a sound culture of prevention.
- Manage a team of H&S professionals
- Define and implement prevention actions, as well as internal training, information and communication plans
- Act as the point of contact with the Labor authorities
- Lead H&S committees and represent H&S in other company committees
Experience & Skills Required
- Over 8 years of H&S experience resulting in well-rounded expertise, preferably in manufacturing environments
- Degree specialized in Security and Safety (PRL – 3 specialities)
- Experience in leading and driving cultural change.
- Experience / knowledge of the Spanish Market
- Spanish and English are required, French is a plus.
