PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
As a Visual Merchandising Leader role for 2 important markets in North Asia: Hong Kong and Macau, this role is overseeing Visual Merchandising strategy and execution including store environment, product display, windows and clienteling events. At the same time, this role is also responsible for the team development for all in store VM team members in Hong Kong and Macau.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Visual Merchandising Calendar Planning:
- Plan and finalize all year Events calendar by working with Headquarter and Markets (update and consolidation)
- Support event and CRM teams for regional and national events, Pop up, seasonal in store activities (CNY, Valentine’s Day, Xmas etc.)
- Ensure the VM execution are in line with guidance by working closely with each store leadership team
- Consolidate and report VM calendar and activities to Central team
Building Strong Partnership across Functions in Assigned Markets
- Working closely with Event, CRM, Merch and Retail department on yearly strategic business agenda
- Anticipate the needs from each markets/store and provide solutions
- Formulate product launch plan with Merchandising team for each seasons’ new launch
- Support the event team on the selection of venue for regional or national events
Leading Effectively with In-store VM Team:
- Work closely with In- store VM for Events, Pop up and CRM activities
- Support store opening, top management visits and key products launches
- Develop market in store VM continuously and work on the succession plan
Facilitating Clienteling Events:
- Preparation before event installation (zoning and product grouping and props)
- Installation (lighting adjustment – pictures and VM reports)
- Post- Installation (products and props packing)
