Louis Vuitton is seeking a Training and Communication Manager to lead the development and implementation of programs inside our Manufacturing workshops in California and Texas. In strong partnership with the Leadership Team, you will build the annual training plan and training budget for our three US leather goods production workshops. Your scope of responsibilities, for a population of approximately 800 associates, will include complying with legal requirements and developing learning paths for supervisory positions and artisans. You will contribute to implementing the Ecole des Savoir-Faire programs, to adapting the training modules and identifying and training internal trainers.
The position includes a great amount of teamwork with the French and European workshops to share best practices. You will also facilitate several internal training modules and generate local and international reports. In terms of Communication, you will animate the workshop Annual Communication Plan and the related budget, aiming at infusing and developing the Company Culture through events, visits and communication campaigns. Your scope of responsibilities includes coordinating the artisans’ Committees in charge of promoting internal events, creating the Local Magazine, designing team building events and supporting the Leadership Team on Company projects. You will need to partner with Louis Vuitton Retail to develop strong bilateral relationships and develop new means of communication to enhance the pride and the well-being at work.
We are eager to speak to professionals with a Bachelor’s Degree, with a minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, who has a good understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design and program management. You will have demonstrated success in adapting programs to meet audience needs and developed strong business acumen and customer focus. In addition, you will have experience in building strong and collaborative relationships, you are detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational skills. This role requires ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines. You must be bilingual language in English and Spanish. French would be a great plus.
