Louis Vuitton is seeking a Logistics Assistant based in our New York office who will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Logistics team including transportation, vendor follow up & billing, custom compliance, and store support. Additionally, they will support the Vice President of Supply Chain & Logistics to coordinate meetings, calendar management, booking travel, process expenses, answering phone calls, and other ad hoc tasks.
As an experienced administrative individual, you will process and code invoices for the team, perform clerical work such as archiving and verifying documents, coordinate events with vendors, and be a point person for our Retail stores regarding transportation inquiries. You will also facilitate customs clearance and be a backup support to the Customs department. With strong resourcefulness, you will be able to complete tasks with minimal supervision and take initiative to improve processes while being resourceful when finding solutions.
We are eager to speak to professionals with a minimum of two years’ of experience in an administrative or clerical position who possess a Bachelor’s Degree. You will have elevated communication and organizational skills, a strong sense of urgency, and drive for results. In addition, you will have experience being agile in a fast paced environment, adaptable to an ever-changing business, and possess a curious mindset. Previous experience in SAP is preferred and working experience with the Microsoft Office programs is required.
