An exceptional opportunity has arisen within Louis Vuitton for a high calibre and client focused Watch & Jewellery Manager. This role will be based in our prestigious store in Harrods, the world’s most luxurious department store, and will drive our watch & jewellery business across all four concessions.
An expert in the watches and jewellery metiers, with a particular flair for fine & high jewellery, you will have the unique ability to spot, recruit and develop high potential and high net worth clients and entice them into your metiers with your exceptional story telling abilities, and unparalleled knowledge of gemstones and rare timepieces.
You will take ownership to lead and coach your team, and inspire the wider Harrods store team to propose our watch and jewellery collections, ensuring that they have exceptional brand and product awareness while also ensuring that they deliver the highest level of client experience.
Additionally, you will be responsible for providing the Store Director & Merchandising Director with product and industry expertise in relation to product sensitivity and client needs, and therefore be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maximize product performance by leveraging visual merchandising, clienteling, training, and team animations.
Your high emotional intelligence and relationship building skills will be leveraged to cultivate business relationships with Personal Shoppers and By Appointment teams in Harrods, with the intention of retaining and developing relationships by providing expert advice and a customised service. You will ensure they are fully briefed on Louis Vuitton’s Watch & Jewellery categories using a verity of communication methods: e-mails, WhatsApp, and bespoke trainings.
To be successful in this role, you must have a thorough understanding of the luxury retail market gained through extensive experience working with exceptional jewellery pieces. Your knowledge of stones will be unrivaled, and you will be an expert in proposing and selling high-end and exceptional pieces to an elevated clientele. You will be an inspirational leader, who has consistently developed top talent within your team and knows how to get the best out of your people. You will be a champion of clienteling – requiting new, and developing existing – clients within the brand, proactively capitalising on all possible opportunities to grow your business.
