Louis Vuitton is recruiting for a Distribution Planning Manager based in our New York office who will be responsible for managing the correct inventory of Leather Goods, Accessories and Fragrance to support the sales in their network of stores.  This will be accomplished through the use of analytical skills and market knowledge to monitor distribution, proactively contribute to meeting sales target, and ensure appropriate availability rate with optimal stock level.

As a highly experience Distribution Planner, you will work closely with the store network to ensure an open dialogue on stock levels, product availability, and forecasted service rates while also managing the inventory flow for store openings and events.  In addition, you will implement initiatives based on your analyses for target stock adjustments and stock re-balance to maximize sell through.

As an expert in supply chain, you will collaborate closely with Merchandising, Logistics, and the Customs Department to solve for distribution challenges and you will be the main point of contact for stores within your network to meet objectives.  Working collaboratively with the other members of the Supply Chain team, you will support your colleagues on special projects that are being executed to improve overall departmental functions.


We are eager to speak to Bilingual professionals who preferably hold a Master’s degree with a minimum of five years’ experience in Supply Chain or Inventory Planning & Analysis.  The ideal candidate has a proven track record of working in the luxury market and thrives working in a fast paced, evolving and best in class organization. You will be highly driven, organized, analytical, and possess both exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver on tight deadlines.  Additionally, candidates must speak Spanish fluently.
