Transversal Distribution Planner, Seasonal
Louis Vuitton is seeking a Transversal Distribution Planner for a period of six months based in New York that will lead transversal animation across all categories – Leather Goods, Accessories, Shoes and Ready-to-Wear. This role is responsible for defining the best strategy for each transversal launch, while partnering with Merchandising, Digital, Client Development, Client Services, and IT teams. This person will use their analytical skills to develop a clear action plan for each launch, monitor reservations/needs by store and execute each order to the correct client and provide visibility on deliveries.
As someone who is skilled in problem solving, the Transversal Distribution Planner will partner with departments to alert of stock shortages or risks and to ensure the inventory development is aligned with timelines and launching needs by managing order brokers. The Transversal Distribution Planner will allocate product according to availability, transportation, and shipping to ensure timely sell-through. They will also forecast and assess the impacts of unexpected events on demand on the planning environment and will analyze sales performance at launch to identify opportunities.
We are eager to speak to individuals that have 5+ years of experience in Inventory Planning and Analysis, Supply Chain, or Merchandise Allocation. This person will have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Power BI. Additionally, they will have strong communication skills, with the ability to deliver simple and impactful message while being client centric with an entrepreneurial spirit. French and/or Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
