Louis Vuitton is seeking a highly creative, project oriented, and customer focused Product Developer, preferably with previous experience in a high-quality manufacturing environment to be a part of our amazing “atelier” in Alvarado, TX.


As a Product Developer, you will have an opportunity to work with a creative and dynamic team, ensuring that our manufacturing processes cater to meet our client needs according to the Louis Vuitton promise. By striving to continuously improve the manufacturing of our products and new developments you will be contributing to the quality and craftsmanship found within our “atelier” and providing luxury goods to our clients. This is an opportunity for those who thrive in a fast-paced and rewarding environment, to ensure the process of industrializing new products and managing the demands of modification for existing products, while complying with our world-renowned quality requirements. You will have the opportunity to partner with our European “ateliers” in co-development mode to share best practices during the industrialization of products. With a teamwork spirit and customer service mindset, you will provide support to our production operations in technical matters related to product developments to resolve opportunities encountered in the development phase. Ideally, we are seeking individuals with an industrial engineering degree coupled with strong technical and project management skills. Minimum Job Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred or equivalent of relevant experience • Minimum 3-5 years of manufacturing experience preferred • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, across all levels of the organization • Detail oriented and possess excellent organizational skills • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects varying in complexity • Ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team • Must be action oriented, quality focused and creative to contribute to unique ideas • Possesses sound judgment on the utilization of creative ideas • Effectively copes with change and can decide and act under ambiguous situations • Clearly and comfortably delegates routine and important tasks • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented, and continually changing environment • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Proficient in CAD drawing software and process interfaces, preferably knowledge of RCS (Lectra Software) • Proficient in Lectra Software (Diamino, Modaris CAD, and Formaris) is a plus • Familiar with ERP systems for tool ordering (JDE, SAP, or equivalent) • Bilingual skills in English/Spanish (written and oral), French is a plus • Project Management (PM) Certificate is a plus
