Position

Louis Vuitton is searching for a Store Planning Procurement Manager. The primary purpose of this position is to lead and support activities within the sourcing and procurement process of Store Constructions in the Americas, in accordance with Global Sourcing policies and procedures.

This individual will be working with the teams Architects and project managers, supporting all procurement activities including RFI/RFQ/RFP, bid leveling and negotiation to ensure efficient selection of suppliers that deliver the best value in price and quality while minimizing risk to LV.

We are searching for an individual that will establish, negotiate, lead, and supervise existing and new contracts with Store Planning’s vendors and suppliers. 

The Procurement manager uses multiple sources of internal and external data and market intelligence to develop Innovative and creative effective category strategies that drive a competitive advantage for Louis Vuitton North America.

 

Profile

  • Perform regular Spend Analysis, Identify the spend profile and buying patterns
  • Scanning Business Environment (Technology, Geopolitics, Economics, Social, Regulatory)
  • Benchmarking & Competitive Analysis
  • Demand Planning through Partnership with Store Planning Team
  • Execute on the Cost Saving opportunities & Potential Vendors
  • Lead assigned sourcing projects
  • Manage RFI, RFQ, RFP
  • Lead Business reviews with vendors, setting up KPIs
  • Support sustainabilty initiatives
  • Consistent record of achieving results by leading projects working with cross functional teams
  • Comprehension to negotiate contract terms, including development of negotiation plans and strategies
  • Highly motivated and can demonstrate a proactive approach to solving problems
  • Strong multi-tasking in a multifaceted work environment and understand urgency of time
  • Experience & knowledge in luxury is highly preferred
  • Ability to speak foreign languages (French, Spanish, Portuguese or Italian)
