Operations Manager, Process Improvement
Louis Vuitton is seeking an Operations Manager, Process Improvement to provide integral support to the distribution team in Coppell, Texas. The Operations Manager, Process Improvement role is to ensure the efficiency and the visibility of the day-to-day operations at the distribution center. This role will enhance outbound and inbound functions, manage continuous improvements and sustainability projects implementation while maintaining or exceeding customer needs. The Operations Manager, Process Improvement works closely with the logistics provider to ensure all service levels are met consistently and that lead time is optimized.
In addition, the Operations Manager, Process Improvement will develop and maintain up-to-date procedures and make sure best practices are shared between the three US and other abroad distribution centers. This role will also provide and maintain the key user level knowledge of the WMS System (Infolog), and ensure proper set-up, configuration, and use. Further, this person will validate and perform time studies; update, enhance, create and communicate any required KPI to improve operations management or visibility with the focus being lead time. Lastly, the Operation Manager, Process Improvement will lead UAT, tests with the 3PL when required and will perform other duties as assigned or required.
The Operations Manger, Process Improvement role would best suit an individual with 5+ years’ experience working with an automated warehouse system with a solid understanding of logistics processes, distribution center operations and Inventory Control. With strong statistical skills and attentional to detail, you will be self-motivated and have the ability to communicate with external and internal customers at all levels. The ideal candidate will be technologically savvy, with working knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word with the ability to learn more. Additionally, experience with Power BI and SQL and fluency in French/Spanish are a great plus.
