Position

The role, reporting to the Plant Director, is responsible for the maintenance of site, buildings, machinery and equipment. The role will implement standards and KPIs to drive continuous improvement and to assure the goals in the maintenance area.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan and coordinate maintenance activities including analyzing equipment needs, defining and implementing corrective actions, addressing reliability issues and developing preventive and predictive maintenance practices

Drive maintenance strategies and manage the maintenance budget and new capital investment requirements

Select and manage contractors providing services

Plan and resolve repair and installation activities in a proactive and timely manner

Working along with Production Manager and CI Manager to improve time, quality and equipmentAssure machinery and equipment compliance in order to harmonize and align the local structure to the company standards

Lead the Maintenance Team providing vision, strategies and objectives

Define set of KPIs to drive machinery and equipment operational excellence

Profile

Technical Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline (Electrical or Mechanical) preferred

At least 5-7 years as a Maintenance Engineer/Maintenance Manager (or similar) in manufacturing environment

Solid knowledge of computer-based software and tools.

Attitude to develop effective working relationships across all levels

Excellent working knowledge of Industrial Maintenance, electronics, computers and ergonomics

Fluent in English

Additional information

The position reports to the Plant Director  and works collaboratively with all the main Departments within MALV Leathergoods
