Logistics Manager - Mexico City
Louis Vuitton is seeking a Logistics Manager based out of our Mexico City office to ensure efficient physical flows from the warehouse to point of sales. The key responsibility includes partnering with third party vendors to ensure the transportation process runs efficiently and additionally provide support to stores for any issues relating to transportation as well as be in charge of billing and vendor management. Operationally, the Logistics Manager will be responsible for store relationships and providing relevant and reliable information pertaining to delivery lead times, order follow up, and relay store requests to the appropriate department. Additional tasks include deploying short term and day-to-day activities to ensure efficient response to logistics defined strategies, ensure compliance will all required documentations to support transportation flows and answer discrepancy reports and work with the warehouse on any parcel issues.
From a project management perspective, the Logistics Manager will be responsible for partnerships with vendors and define action plans to improve processes, methods and tools and improve communication of disturbances to stores. They will encourage the implementation of environmentally conscious alternatives and propose transportation strategy when and if applicable. Additionally, the Logistics Manager will work with various departments to ensure simplify invoicing, payments and reconciliation processes with vendors and that all reports and projects are triggered properly.
We are eager to speak to individuals that have five years professional experience in a corporate business, logistics and customer service environment , bachelor´s degree in business, engineering or similar, with prior retail or general reconciliation experience with the use of different reporting tools. The ideal candidate will be proficient in SAP & Microsoft Office products, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, comfortable with analyzing big datasets and experience with importing and formatting reports for manipulation. Additionally, fluency in English is a must!
