Junior Project Manager
Louis Vuitton is searching for a Junior Project Manager based in our New York City office. This position will manage the Design and Implementation of Louis Vuitton existing store Minor Works projects, focusing on pop ups. This will be achieved by working closely and collaborating with corporate and regional teams to ensure coordination of all aspects of the projects which also include the direct control and responsibility of Procurement, Administrative, and Logistic. The Junior Project Manager is also responsible for managing external consultants, contractors, and direct vendors on projects. The Junior Project Manager will also handle costs, scheduling, and quality of projects throughout the entire process of planning and construction.
As Junior Project Manager you will supervise and coordinate all design and construction activities involved with improvements of stores through “Minor Works”. Main responsibilities include:
- Assist with design development for each location & support Special Project build outs
- Renderings for LVM concepts in LVA spaces to convert concept into space
- Coordination for logistics, landlord, vendor surveys, consultants as needed, inventory management
- Prepare Capex and Cost Report annually with quarterly status updates on budget and completion to Finance Department
- Deliver monthly presentations and updates to RVP’s and local VM.
We are eager to speak to professionals with minimum of 3 years’ experience in retail construction management and a bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Design. The ideal candidate will have a background in events, set design and creative production. This person is detail oriented with strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills. This person has a desire to work in an agile and collaborative environment and has demonstrated the ability to build relationships and work cross functionally. In addition, has experience with AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Excel, and PowerPoint.
