Position

Louis Vuitton is seeking an Inventory Control Analyst to provide integral support to the distribution team in Ontario, California for a period of twelve months. This person will monitor and implement corrections to the Warehouse Management, Retail Management and Financial systems to ensure book inventory matches various systems in the Retail & Distribution Companies. You will monitor all key functions related to inventory transactions to assure they are accurate and timely, as well as collaborate with 3PL Inventory Control Process Leader to develop procedural recommendations. The Inventory Control Analyst will work alongside Inventory Control Managers to coordinate and manage the existing cycle count program. In addition, this person will develop and implement inventory control procedures to include cycle counting and reporting guidelines, problem identification and resolutions and improvements.

Additionally, the Inventory Control Analyst will utilize an analytical mindset to identify and solve inventory discrepancies, while also preparing reports including inventory analysis. Working with key personnel, this person will effectively implement process improvements to operational procedures to proactively optimize overall location and item level accuracy and maintain the highest possible productivity levels. This role can expect to offer other warehouse and office duties depending on the needs of the business.

Profile

The Inventory Control Analyst role would best suit an individual with 3-5 years’ experience of distribution, warehouse, and inventory experience, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. With strong statistical skills and attentional to detail, you will be self-motivated and be able to foster strong relationships to work and collaborate with colleagues in an office and warehouse setting. The ideal candidate will be technologically savvy, with working knowledge and understanding of WMS/RMS concepts and the ability to learn more. Additionally, experience with Power BI is a great plus!
