Position

Louis Vuitton is seeking a Director of Finance Transversal based in our New York City office. This role will ensure the accuracy of LVA Financial Statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and protection of assets by partnering with all finance teams and other key stakeholders. This role will also lead Financial Planning & Analysis of Supply Chain & Logistics teams, wholesale inventory flows, repair center, and other margin expenditures. This role will also be expected to lead financial analysis and coordination with Latin American entities transversally (FP&A, cash management, special projects). As a strong leader, the Director will develop and motivate a team as well maintain strong relationships with our Zone Management team and LV headquarters in Paris.

Only key responsibilities include leading monthly closing analysis and control to Budget/trend, and communication of performance to headquarters. This role will also lead follow up of LVA Gross Margin expenses including warehousing, duty, freight and depreciation expenses and spearhead support of select regions in budgeting, cost savings initiatives and P&L analysis.

Profile

We are eager to speak to individuals that possess a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, economics or accounting and MBA preferred, with a min of 8 -10 years of experience in a similar capacity. The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to build cross-functional relationships. We are looking for advanced proficiency in Excel as well as strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, strong attention to detail, autonomy and flexibility.
