Within the LG Italy Plant, reporting to the Plant Director, the Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager will lead the CI initiatives to eliminate waste and non added value activities and to improve performance.  This position will be the responsible for project management of Lean projects.


Lead the plant leadership team in developing the plant’s overall CI plan in alignment with the Plant Director and corporate CI improvement teams to create a culture of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing that leads to associate empowerment, elimination of waste, and KPI improvement;

Map the Plant: reviewing flows, analysing root cause and re- engineering processes;

Design and manage of lean projects across plants, functions and product lines in line with designed processes, technical issues and new system changes;

Ensures that CI training, tools, test practices and resources are available to employees at all levels;

Coach the process of developing standard work practices across the plant;

Works with the Plant Director and leadership team in analysing key performance indicators to increase efficiency

Technical Requirements:

Graduate degree, preferably in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing

At least 7/8 years of proven working experience in a similar role using modern Continuous Improvement methods and knowledge of manufacturing process improvement techniques

Strong project management and analytical skills

Leadership skills and ability to interact at various levels, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

Excellent computer skills (MS ,SAP)

Availability to travel to HQ offices or other plants

Fluent in English
