In order to contribute to Louis Vuitton (LV) business growth, provide service to business departments especially Digital Retail, and Client development, by managing various information systems related to digital services such as ecommerce, Clienteling and OMS as well as Social media in Japan, (Social media for both Japan and Korea) in line with global (e.g. PCI, GDPR,,) and each country’s regulation (e.g. client law, eco system on social media,,) .


Purpose of this position

The person at this position manages Japan Digital applications and services (mainly Digital marketing with Social media, Clienteling, cross border eCommerce and several services related customer information and product information), both projects and maintenance/enhancement after implementation.

The person at this position needs to provide resolutions for digital project / operational problems whilst adhering to corporate competencies based on relationship with business, local vendor and global headquarter teams.

Also contributes insights into the strategic direction of the Digital/Client Services/Retail departments based on understanding of complex processes such as omni channel retail and omni channel clienteling.

To maintain Digital production environments and deliver application releases, the person at this position works with global Digital Tribe including, various business departments in Asia and third-party vendors mainly based in India, Israel and France, also guarantees Worldwide roadmap of application/service portfolio.


Principal Accountabilities

  • Participate on technical design/scoping of local driven digital projects(LINE/LINE Mini program/LINE Works/ REST APIs)
  • Provide right information to our customers and users in the best way
  • Provide timely support and maintain local and global applications/services
  • Join Global Digital and Clienteling squads to follow up on a future Digital/Clienteling release/project as IS&T key player
  • Maintain production with third-party vendors mainly based in Japan, India, Israel and France closely to tackle major daily incidents and root cause of problems. Incident monitoring and analysis problems are constantly put in place with third-party vendors
  • Perform regression tests and confirm new functionalities/bug-fix behaviors before deployment in production
  • Lead, plan, organize middle scale of projects/releases and/or contribute to large scale projects in alignment with project management methodology
  • Identify very quickly the alerts & risks (related to incidents, problems, usage …) coming from our customers. Based on that, provide fast and pertinent feedbacks to IS&T Central team
  • Adhere to Louis Vuitton IS&T policies, procedures, and standards to achieve quality and compliance of solutions through 3rd Party Security Questionnaire toward vendors and Technical Architecture Document validation toward central IS&T team
  • Seek business requirements to formalize fit & gap, scope and deliverables
  • Propose business process improvement, earn and sustain trusting relationship with business teams in Global


Short term:

  • Understand evolving business processes quickly
  • Get to know global application architecture/integration
  • Communicate effectively with global headquarter IS&T teams, global Digital and Clienteling Tribes community and different business stakeholders especially Digital/Client Services/Retail (in Japanese and English) with using the business language, and technical terms when interacting within IS&T teams including third party vendors
  • Prioritize business requirements with business teams

Long term

  • Understand the strategy of global standard applications to deploy in Japan with leveraging and optimizing business processes efficiently
  • Become a part of IS&T global talent, work effectively with headquarter business and IS&T members, lead the technical design as global project manager
  • Become the lead of Digital and Clienteling squads and manage all of business applications related to digital marketing, eCommerce and clienteling in store.

  • Japanese & English: Business level
  • Around 5 years working experience in IS&T or Digital department
  • One of following;
  • Experience of digital marketing especially social media marketing
  • LINE API or REST API for basic knowledge
  • Salesforce enhancement experience
  • Cloud base architecture design
  • Experience in eCommerce (preferable if experience working with European based companies, Luxury sector, and cross border eCommerce)
  • Ability to work under high pressure with tight deadlines, multi-tasks and time management skills
  • Logical and positive thinker
  • Hospitable and Sociable to have communications with users and open-mind to get new technologies


  • LINE API expert holder
  • Experience on Kakao API projects
  • Experience of such products as Salesforce(Sales Cloud/Marketing Cloud/Service Cloud/Commerce Cloud), ATG, Demandware, SAP Hybris or Magento
  • Education or working experience in overseas,
  • Experience to work in multi culture environment or diversity environment
  • Experience in project to deploy global standard applications as a project manager
  • Bachelor’s Degree
