Louis Vuitton is searching for an Associate Merchandiser of Women's Leather Goods. The role of the Associate Merchandiser is to assist the Leather Goods team in all aspects of the business of all stores Louis Vuitton North America. This role also includes ownership of the Special Orders, Personalization and W SLG categories. The main responsibilities include sales reporting and recaps, developing business strategy, product & Virtual selling tools creation, sample administration, and regular competitive pricing analysis. We are looking for an individual who can own the organization of regional retail meetings, and other administrative support for the team.


  • Work in database to generate a variety of Excel-based sales reports that recap the business; compile power point recaps as needed; distribute to team.
  • Prepare store performance recaps in Excel in advance of store visits and distribute.
  • Seek to improve the current reporting process by improving efficiency or crafting new reports.
  • Offer solution-oriented support to Regional Merchandiser and store teams daily, handle communication flow internally including monthly Merchandising calls.
  • Partner with Merchandising Managers to build and update excel/power point/web-based tools for stores or Merchandising team that include product launch plans, launching updates, Transversal & LG modelarios and product books; manage the shipping of both Paris and Zone tools. Support Merchandising team in building assortment by store & quarterly tools.
  • Drive order process from creation to delivery in partnership with Paris & NYC teams, troubleshoot platform, track orders, follow up on conversion, manage inquires & provide feedback to optimize systems.
  • Liaise between stores and Paris on Special Order & High-end requests (W + M LG, EXO, Hardsided) and help to creatively trouble shoot client issues. Track price estimates, production, and shipment; communicate status updates.
  • Under mentorship of Manager, lead all aspects of the category with eventual complete ownership of this category (lead business strategy linked to buying, competitive trends, market needs, regular analysis). Additional responsibilities in MLG category ownership to follow.
  • Partner with Supply Chain to ensure timely & efficient movements of product to support client needs & events. Support store openings ensuring all stock and transfers deliver on time.
  • Analyze the market monthly and prepare comprehensive recaps on pricing, trends, actions, and events.
  • Supervise overall sample inventory through Fashion GPS. Ship and receive samples to/from stores for trainings and events. Maintain an organized sample closet and complete quarterly counts.
