Associate Distribution Planner, Ready-to-Wear
Louis Vuitton is seeking a temporary Associate Distribution Planner based in our New York City office who will be responsible supporting the sales in their network of stores. This position will be a temporary role with a duration of six months. The Associate Distribution Planner will use their analytical skills and market knowledge to monitor the rebalancing of stock to ensure it arrives at the correct location for all events, caravans and store openings. The Associate Distribution Planner will also partner with the merchandising team to review event stock levels and compliance.
As someone who is skilled in problem solving and familiar with systems, the Associate Distribution Planner will organize daily transfers in Ready-to-Wear in partnership with the Supple Chain and Merchandising teams. They will also manage the Ready-to-Wear zone rebalance process which includes upload demand and utilizing strong communication skills to follow up with HQ. Additionally, this individual will organize and deploy inventory rebalancing between stores, markets, clients, and subsidiaries. The Associate Distribution Planner will report on weekly compliance of Ready-to-Wear pullbacks.
We are eager to speak to professionals with a bachelor’s degree and previous experience in sourcing, production, global supply chain, or management consulting. This individual will have great team spirit and excellent adaptability and tolerance in pressure situations. They will have exceptional communication and organizational skills and a customer focus attitude. They are also extremely detail oriented, client centric and have strong analytical skills. In addition, they will have excellent Microsoft Excel, Access, and Power PI skills and working knowledge in Python, R, and SQL and can easily adapt to internal systems. With strong creativity to implement tools/dashboards/systems this individual will bring the entrepreneurial spirit! French and/or Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
