Position

The HR Advisor will support the HRBP to achieve the HR team’s strategic objectives and take the HR lead on a range of different projects and responsibilities. The HR Advisor will partner with client groups acting as first point of contact for all employees across the HR lifecycle (including recruitment, performance management and employee relations), The HR Advisor will support the HRBP mainly focused on attracting, engaging and retaining our talents and will also be responsible of the effective implementation and recording of key administrative processes and policies within HR.

The HR Advisor will act as a “Change Agent” to support cultural changes across the business; driving a culture of empowerment, feed-back, development, simplification and digitalization.

Profile

TALENT ACQUISITION & INDUCTION

  • Proactively source and actively recruit a variety of roles (including retail positions and Head Office) – this includes the full 360 recruitment process from recruitment brief and sourcing, behavioural based interviews through to extending offers with management, contract generation and administering new starter documentation and payroll onboarding
  • Build a network of candidates through proactive search, professional networks and education partnerships
  • Promote the brand within the network; conduct exploratory interviews and pipeline future talents
  • Educate wider HR team & key stakeholders about recruitment trends, challenges and best practice
  • Support HRBP in the coordination of other recruitment processes
  • Support the implementation and facilitation of a cross-functional induction programmes
  • Cultivate the Head Office Internship / Apprenticeship community

HR ADMINISTRATION

  • Undertake the administration related to all HR processes, in particular:
    • Starters, leavers and changers
    • Maintain employee files, ensuring compliance with audit requirements
    • Record, monitor and report on staff absences
    • Populate the eHR systems, including the population of payroll data for the C&B team
    • Assist in visa processing as required in collaboration with mobility consultants
  • Ensure a clear Starters/Leavers process, compliant with the UK employment regulations
  • Keep a record of all relevant information for internal use respecting the GDPR regulations

HR PROJECTS

  • Proactively coordinate and ensure the smooth running of all HR led internal events
  • Maintain HR information on the intranet, proactively assisting in the generation of new content
  • Support in drafting announcements and other HR communications
  • Lead & drive simplification and digitalisation projects, identifying actions to streamline our ways of working
  • Assist in driving the local CSR roadmap, fostering a culture of wellbeing and engagement throughout our teams

EMPLOYEE RELATIONS

    • Proactively identify and respond to trends within the client groups, working to minimise ER and strengthen proximity between managers and their teams
    • Guide management through progressive disciplinary procedures (Disciplinaries and Performance Improvement processes).
    • Conduct investigations/ attend disciplinaries and grievances - taking minutes as required
    • Actively keep abreast of changes in local employment law

Additional information

Education:                   

  • Degree in a related discipline (HR/Business Management)

Languages:

  • English

Professional experience & know how:

  • Demonstrable experience in an HR Administration or Advisory role
  • Familiar working in a fast-paced and agile environment
  • Knowledge of new recruitment trends including digital
  • Excellent proficiency in PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and Excel
