The Louis Vuitton Visual Image ideates, researches, designs, develops and produces Windows 3d and Spatial design projects.
We are recruiting for a Design Manager, reporting directly to the Artistic Director of the Windows team.
The Design Manager is responsible for managing the design processes and team, ensuring communication with key internal stakeholders, as well as planning resources for future projects.
Planning and Communication:
- Coordinating information flow and briefings between internal stakeholders and the VIS, VM, Props and Packaging Teams team [Communications, Architecture, Metiers and the zones]
- Working in tandem with the Development and Purchasing manager, ensuring coordination of information flow between concept design, technical design and production,
- Coordinating internal approval processes with Artistic Director and Art Director and other key stakeholders
Design Process Management:
- Overseeing workflow of the design teams (planning assigning of projects, managing workflow setting and communication of deadlines for deliverables, managing communication between designers etc.)
- Accompanying individual designers in their design process
- Managing team/group design process (group brain storming sessions, team reviews etc.
- Working directly with the team on their skills development and overall professional development and planning resources with Operations Director
