Louis Vuitton is searching for a Demand Planning Senior Manager based in our New York office who will be responsible for leading the sales forecasting process for the Shoes & RTW business in the Louis Vuitton Americas zone. This will be accomplished through providing best estimates of product needs using historical data, sales trends, and the zone business plan while partnering with the Central team to understand the global vision for the Shoes & RTW category. The Demand Planning Senior Manager is also responsible for leading a monthly meeting to review the category with the Finance and Merchandising teams, ensuring there is consistency in the plan execution. Working collaboratively with the Merchandising team, you will forecast new product launches and assist in the Open-to-Buy session, attending the Showroom twice a year in Paris. As a highly experienced Demand Planner, you will utilize your exceptional analytical skills to develop and summarize global forecasts of anticipated demand using proposals from the Central Sales Planning team based on trends as well as store feedback. In addition, you will provide input to the Distribution Planning team in regards to inventory allocation and actively contribute to the sell through of product by closely monitoring sales and creating action plans where necessary.
Profile
We are eager to speak to professionals with experience in Supply Chain or Demand Planning & Analysis who have a proven track record of working in the luxury or retail market within a fast paced, evolving and best in class organization. The ideal candidate will be highly driven, thrives in a dynamic changing environment, organized, analytical, and possess both exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver to tight deadlines. The appointed candidate will be offered a salary within the range of USD $135,000 - $150,000 annually, plus the opportunity for a bonus, a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks and two retirement plans both with employer contributions. This position is located at our Louis Vuitton Corporate Office in NYC and honors the opportunity for a hybrid on-site schedule.
