As Retail Performance Manager, you will be responsible for leveraging relationships with a multitude of stakeholders, including Store Management across the UK, Ireland & South Africa region, our Corporate team and peers within EMEA. At the heart of the role, you will strive to identify and roll-out fit for purpose initiatives that will drive business performance and embed retail excellence across our stores and teams alike.
You will support the stores in their day-to-day retail and operational activities as well as champion retail projects (pop-ups, new store openings, etc.), by designing and implementing management tools &; KPIs to measure and optimize stores operations.
You will work cross-functionally to build best-in-class teams across a variety of disciplines – including, Client Experience & Mystery Shopping.
Driving Store Performance
- Monitor sales performance, retail KPIs, non-selling activities, team structures & FTE and identify solutions in order to drive business performance
- Partner with the Retail Director to identify innovative action plans to minimize operating costs and operational risks
- Ensure consistent operational procedures across region and proactively identify opportunities to optimize operations activities
- Issue and analyse reports to support and drive optimal scheduling (Match to Traffic, Workforce Management, etc.)
- Identify and coach team members on how to drive an efficient and profitable business (front and back of the house)
- Collaboratively work with the Country Learning Manager to constantly support teams in elevating the Client Experience
Project Management
- Participate in retail specific projects when required
- Monitor and streamline all communication sent to stores, and be the lead for the regional ‘Retail Magazine,’ in order to maximise efficiency
- Work with all corporate partners and Retail Support on designing, piloting and rolling out innovative retail tools
- Partner with Store Planning, Security and Facilities& Maintenance teams regarding activities and store planning initiatives (renovations and store openings) in your region
