During this 9-month mission as Area Visual Merchandising Manager, you will manage and oversee all activities relating to store visual merchandising for your store(s), according to Louis Vuitton guidelines, and within required time frames. You will manage the in-store Visual Merchandising team to ensure that at all times product and props look their best and are well maintained and rotated as required.

Management Tasks & Accountabilities: Management of Maison VM team (two direct reports) – including issuing guidance, feedback and managing performance Daily communication with the VM team, stock team, store and country management Planning and organisation, Reporting to VM Manager, with ‘dotted line’ to Store Director Sales Associates team reporting on VM works: window concept explanations, products display responsible of the visual identity of the store: guidelines respected Identification and motivation of visual merchandising team Reactivity and creativity: alternative and attractive VM to be implemented Commercial attitude VM Specific Tasks (all VM profiles regardless of hierarchy) include: Windows Set up In charge of the window set-up (5 per year): coordination with contractors, electrician, kits delivery Planning, anticipation, organisation, inside and outside glass panel and window cleaning, lighting, refurbishment if need be Window booklet analysis and application Anticipation of the products stock Products set up Lighting focusing Intranet reporting Pictures to be sent to country Visual Merchandising Manager Product Rotations Pre planning of the rotation, creating a zoning to be shared with all concerned, after taking in business needs / priorities Follow up VM booklet guidelines Reactivity to business needs at any given time Aware of the city / actuality / events environment Coherence between all products categories Windows database update Instoretrong> Store cleanness and tidiness Lighting condition All product categories knowledge All product categories Visual Merchandising guidelines knowledge Stock team collaboration for product availability, launches and ends of life Visual training to the VM store, morning briefs to be carried out at least 1 per month IWD knowledge: guidelines / reporting / best practices. Additional information
Temporary contract of 9 months The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a high-end, luxury retail environment with a proven track record of developing direct reports and building effective teams. Manager-level experience in High- End Fashion/ Luxury Goods Industry Experience with RTW and Accessories Experience with window installations Knowledge of retail business (preferably high-end luxury goods) Ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely in a variety of settings, adjusting the message to match the audience level and size Outstanding interpersonal, written, communication, organizational and presentation skills Computer Skills (PowerPoint, MS Office) Ability to deal with different levels of the organization comfortably Builds appropriate rapport and effective relationships Ability to bring concepts to reality Store Planning background preferred Experience managing budgets
